    Beginner Workout DVD Recommendations

I subscribe to Beachbody on demand. They have such a wide variety of programs. I’m currently doing Liift4 it has weights, cardio and abs and is only 4 days a week. I’m loving it. Just started a second round.

    Hard to lay in bed

I haven’t been comfortable lying flat or on my side in bed. I found that my couch is more comfortable for both because the cushions are softer and surround me better but I can’t sleep there all night. I have to move to the recliner at some point.
  4. So I’m feeling like I constantly have a bubble in my throat. Am I alone? Is it just because a little liquid makes me full? I had a lap band removed too, could that be it?
  5. Don’t forget that our bodies are literally starving even though we don’t feel the hunger that intese. Our caloric intake is so low it’s expected to be low energy. I’m 9 days post op and have been pretty lazy.
  6. I’m 8 days post op and am trying to get 2 premier protein shakes in each day and as close to 64 oz of water. It’s harder than I ever imagined to get that little in me lol most days I come up about 8 oz shy of my water goal and get at least 1 1/2 shakes in. It’s over 100 degrees here so I’m very concerned with dehydration.

    Tips for breakfast

Have you tried muffin pan egg cups. I make them ahead on Sundays. You can put anything you want in them, turkey sausage, spinach, bell peppers. Just scramble the eggs fill the cups and bake for 20 min.
  8. I've gained over half of my weight back too. I'm going to try to follow your doctors recommendations to try to get back on track. I've been eating around my band for too long now! I'm with you!

    Help!

I have a similar story as well. I was down 90 pounds a year and a half after my 9/2012 surgery. Things in life got a lot more hectic and stressful and my eating habits returned to the old bad ones. Now I'm up 50+ pounds and am feeling like such a failure. I swore I wasn't going to be that person who got surgery and gained the weight back but here I am. Tonight I returned to the forums where I know there are great people to help me get back on track and I'm hoping that it will help. We can do this! I can do this!

    shakeology? Anyone tried it?

The chocolate was the one I tried. I'm not convinced it's worth the money either.
  17. That is so wonderful!!! What a great feeling it is to know you have/can inspire others through your success. My husband recently watched one of my workouts and he said he was totally inspired and impressed. It's a great feeling.

    shakeology? Anyone tried it?

It was the worst tasting thing I have ever put in my mouth. I couldn't even swallow the second sip. I'll be curious to see what you think. It tasted like liquid metal to me

    PMS SOS!

I do my best to be good but eventually I have to give in to the cravings. I find if I try a substitute I take in more calories and eventually eat what I was craving anyway. I am almost alway up on the scale the week I PMS. It is so annoying it usually doesn't even matter how good I was that week. Try to remember all the things going on in your body at that time and keep making the best decisions you can. You will probably find the weight goes down pretty good.
  22. Wow!! That is fabulous!! Great job! Looking amazing!
