Have you been walking? Like a lot? You should try walking every 30 min or so. And gas x strips. All that helps

Diet ginger ale contains gas so that won't help. Besides, now that you are banded, you need to stay off carbonated drinks.

Have you tried a heat pack, walking around, gasex? I hope something works soon and if not, hopefully you can take comfort in knowing that this is only temporary. Hang in there!

WALK , WALK, WALK..It really will help with the gas...and as strange as this sounds if you can lay on your tummy at all try it, worked for me..The walking for some strange reason does help and I has so much pain on the left side of my back area I could hardly move my arm on that side it was bad so I understand..Good luck to you. :-)

My doctor was going to prescribe pepcid for me, but I was already on nexium for acid reflux. I had some gas, but it passed.

My problem is BM's - I find it very hard to go. Anyone have this problem? I was banded 6/13

If its the ginger u are after then open a ginger ale and leave it till the bubbles have gone, putting more gas in your system seems not such a great idea, a heat pad and Hot Drinks, plenty of Water and walking did the job for me ..

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
