most of the time, I would say yes. I feel so much better, no heavy breathing, no pain so yes it has been easier.

I have had to make myself schedule the good things for me, exercise is one of those.

some days, I am tired or sad(not sure why), then it is hard to do.

I lost 100 pounds and have regained some of it which is why I pursued banding. I exercise 5-7 times a week. I find that my exercise keeps me more on an even keel emotionally. I find when I am sad that exercising is the best thing to do... I always feel better afterwards. I do have to push myself sometimes but never regret it.

Hmmmm, well if i ran the same 3km circuit at the speed i started at six years ago, it ould be laughably easy. So yes.

But you keep challenging yourself. So now i run twice as fast and four or five times the distance. Aking a spin cass and not staying for body pump feel ack. So i still work really hard and m exhausted when i finish. But its rarely nauseating or o hard i cant front up again the next day.

I had started exercising before my band journey. At that point I could barely walk the grocery store. 170 pounds later I do about 3 miles walking in the morning and then an hour either swimming or Water aerobics in the evening. So I would say yes it definitely gets easier as you lose weight. 1 thing to remember the more you weigh the more calories you burn doing any exercise. The less you weigh the less effort it takes to move your body and thus the fewer calories you burn.

I started a regular exercise routine about 7 months before my surgery. I was 326 when I started and could barely do 10 minutes on an elliptical. Now at 257 i can do 30 or 40 minutes. I can't wait to see what exercise is like at my goal weight.

It gets easier but you have to pace yourself and baby steps are okay!!!! It took me time before the weight came off and as the scale drops I'm more inspired to excercise now more than ever!!!!! It gets addictive in a way because food us not the focus in your head after getting banded. As you get fills, you really have to focus your energy on getting healthy.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
