True Results - Houston

Has anyone used True Results in Houston? I have a consult with them tomorrow morning. My insurance won't approve the surgery. However if there is an underlying condition (e.g. hiatal hernia)...they will cover almost all of it. I hate to say it...but I kind of hope I have a minor underlying condition that will qualify me...lol Oh well...wish me luck!

Hi, new to the forum. But I'm going through true results in Houston. Surgery tentively schedule for 23rd. But I had to pay out of pocket because my insurance wouldn't cover it. My question is, I had a EDG done and they found a hernia, so is this some thing the insurance normally would pay for, at least part?

Speak with your patient advocate...because the answer is Yes. Your insurance should cover a part of the surgery because of the Hernia. They have a Hernia/Lap band program for self pays with insurance. So basically they charge you $5500 in stead of the full fee since your insurance should pick up the rest.

I used TrueResults Houston on 3/14/12! My Doctor is Dr. Hollis & he did a great job, even though I think the prep nurse gave me toooooo much drugs because I couldn't wake up after the surgery. Anything other than that, it went perfect!

Banded March 2, 2012 from true results houston by Dr. Reilley at West Houston Hospital. He is a great doc and they took great care of me there.

I am so glad that I found this post! I am also going to be self pay and I would not have a problem traveling to TX for that price!. I already suspect that I have a hernia so I am going to call on Monday to see if they would accept me doings the test here in Florida where I live and then scheduling surgery with them. HOPE SO... keeping my fingers crossed.

Im scheduled March 8th at True Results Houston location... I went for my consultation Jan 10th and my insurance doesnt cover weight loss surgery nor hernia surgery... The center tried getting me in thru the hernia program (which I do have one) but my insurance wont cover that either.

Hello all, I used true results also in Houston Dr. Hollis he was great!! My insurance covered all of it except for 1020.00 and 60.00 to do the scoop for hernia which I had. My surgery was feb. 15 everything has been great I have lost a total of 19 pounds as of this morning that is counting the pre-op diet! I am on week 2 post-op and find my self a little hungry at night but not bad! I really think you will love true results they did all the work for insurance and it was a very quick process!!! I hope all works out for you and you get your band!!! Best of luck to you!!

TR-Richardson for me, They are great Dr. Marsden love his manner. Im banded in 3 days so exciting.... My part 2100.00 Hospital letting me pay out. Baylor Trophy Club Tx

I used True Results in Scottsdale AZ. Everyone was super nice, luckily my insurance covered most, due to me having asleep apnea. But I met a few other ladies that had the hernia and got it done that way. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago, and I know it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Good luck with everything.

I had to pay for everything. Even the hernia. My insurance excluded everything. I hear some people only have to pay a portion due to the hernia, but I had to pay in full $9995 for the surgery and first year of aftercare.

What is "True Results"? Do they have them in other cities? I have a hiatal hernia and take meds daily. I would love to get that taken care of AND my band ASAP! I live in Cleveland...
