  1. I am 1 week post op too, from Dr. Hollis. Have u returned back to work yet? How are you feeling?
  2. Congrats on your new journey! I am 1 week post op and I'm still trying to find a comfortable sleeping position, lol! It will get better as the days go on. I don't have any regrets, I'm too excited about this journey. Good luck!
  3. I was banded on the 14th and I just realized its the medication (hydrocodone) that's giving me insomnia! I mistakenly missed a dose on the night of the 17th and slept like a baby. I didn't think anything of it until my niece fell on my stomach the following day and I was in so much pain so I had to start back on the medication. Needless to say I did not get any sleep! I thought it was just me.....glad to know I'm not the only one!
  4. Wooohooo, way to go! Even though I'm just starting (3/14/12), I know I will be there eventually!....Keep up the good work!
  5. I also have a list of things: - getting a bikini wax - fly without fighting with the seat belt (talk about embarrassing) - ride any theme park ride without 2 or more attendants "assisting" me. - attend more family get togethers - wear a nice swimsuit w/o a cover-up. - go on a family vacation without being the "tired one".
  6. I'm not gonna lie, I was very scared at first, then I thought about not living if I didn't get some help. I was like a damn if I do/ damn if I don't. I was banded on 3/14/12 and I do not regret it! One thing I can say is you must have an excellent support system, including help with the kids. Most of the people I have met on this forum has been very helpful! So, just follow your "gut" and make your own decision.....Good Luck!
  7. I was banded on 3/14 & I would love to be one of your banded buddies.
  8. I used Dr. Hollis too on 3/14/12, he was excellent....I kept trying to figure out who he reminded me of and by George I think u hot it, lol!
