  4. LOVE TAJIN! I put it on everything. My fav is tajin and avocado slices. I am having sleeve on Monday so I am also interested in this answer for when I can have stuff
  5. Makes me think about the people on the tv show naked and afraid- they go 21 days with only a few handfuls of stuff to eat. Man that is mental toughness, right there
  6. I had the bad in 2013 lost 80 gained 40 back SW 205 Have my sleeve tomorrow down to 185 I wont miss being stuck everyday! Good luck to you
  7. HI, just my experience. I have UHC-Choice. MY dr's office thought I had to do the physc eval/sleep anea/6 months blah blah blah but after I got clearance from my primary I asked them to please submit. They did not want to but did- approved.
  8. My Surgery date is the 23rd of April as well. Approved April 9th, been on 2 protein shakes one lean meat since. Down around 12 lbs so far. BMI was 49 UHC insurance just had to be cleared for surgery no sleep/phy/6 months diet/nutrition stuff. Revision from lap band to sleeve. Lapband 5 yrs ago lost 85lbs but last 2 yrs gained 40 back. Tired of the stuck feeling! Best wishes for an easy surgery!

  10. Congrats, I just started my pre-op diet and sleeve surgery on 4/23 also! Mine is protein drink x2 and lean protein-dinner
  11. The surgeon already told me it doesn't make sense to do a 6 month proven diet he agreed that the lapband experiment was enough. Insurance approved my surgery (removal of band and sleeve)
  12. Yeah sometimes I think the DR requires it- this billing coordinator just went off of general info posted for UHC I dared to ask are those yours or the insurance requirements- now I know its NOT the ins requirements as I had suspected
  13. United healthcare approved me today (UHC-Choice) PRIO to this My surgeons office said I must do 6 months of diet/sleep apnea study/nutritional visit/phyc eval/ekg/and get cleared for surgery. I asked is that my insurance requirements or yours? Billing coordinator (very rude through the whole process) no,no that's ins requirements see here. She pulls up what I know as "general guidelines" I told her that wasn't required of my lapband- please submit for me. She refused without medical clearance and a endoscopy/colonoscopy- I complied. Now please submit- shes stays true to her nasty self"what am I submitting? your band has no issue and you have done the requirements. Me please just submit as is.. Billing coordinator- well I will but this is a waste of time....... This am ,Approval letter is on myuhc. Cant wait to call miss congeniality on Monday!!! (ever think you could be wrong? maybe you were just trying to scam me to get all this done? I posted here so some will hear my story and find hope that you may get approved!!

  16. I have uhc and even though my lapband didn't have any issues they approved the revision today
  17. UHC was great it was the DR's office coordinator who didn't like me rocking her world of what she knew! IT was her way always- she was so rude and close minded. I knew uhc would approve she just had her mindset that they wouldnt

  22. My labs from the DR, look amazing, my blood pressure meds are down to the minimal dose and I am no longer Pre-diabetic. I am very excited about these things. Working on "want power" so far. Had a fill again today 5cc's total in my 14cc band.
