Side sleeper?
I just had to push through it. I was sleeping on my side by day 4-5... even though it was a bit sore I did it anywhere because Surgeon never said not to.

Pre-Operation Holding Pattern
Same here. This is a LOT harder than I ever imagined. Everything has seemed to get worse not better. But I’m hoping the body just takes time to heal, however half of the battle is the mental game and it’s just awful because you can’t escape it

Pre-Operation Holding Pattern
The anxiety and depression does not get better after surgery. I’m 5 weeks post op and it has gotten worse. Takes time I guess.

Nightmares
I felt real hunger. I wasn’t one of the ones who wasn’t hungry. I felt HUNGER. A lot of times it’s the acid in your stomach. I was on liquids until yesterday, eating solid foods feel much better to me. However, the HEAD HUNGER IS REAL!! I’ve been trying to get a lot of walking in and I love just going to the malls and walking... however I got a wiff of a pretzel and omg I felt like I could have eaten 5-6 of them. Lol. Of course I didn’t eat any but the head hunger is honestly real. Cravings don’t go away:(. This is definitely a learning process.

Did you have body contouring surgery? No loose skin looks amazing!

Nightmares
Of course! I was sleeved 2 weeks ago and I was so afraid I was going to get sick or something before hand. I was taking 1 airborne every day before hand. Stress really causes a toll on your body so try and take it easy. This surgery is a BIG DEAL! People will tell you don’t worry but you can’t just shut off your concerns. Control what you can control, and stay positive. Believe everything will go well. It will! In a couple of weeks, you will be posting about how you went through surgery and what a breeze it was!

Nightmares
Hi! What you’re going through is perfectly normal. Think of that anxiety as energy. Focus that energy on what could go right! Visualize everything going right! Picture yourself waking up with minimal pain, Surgeon saying everything went great, walking around , and take deep breathes.

4 days
Same here!! Mine was 4/16 and it’s been rough! Trying to get my water in and I want real food. I am so hungry I feel like. Although I guess it’s getting easier, I’m not sure. I will say I haven’t had a bowel movement since Monday so I’m concerned... but other than that I am trying to stay hydrated.. plus this vitamin schedule is awful. :-/

Did anyone feel hungry after surgery?
Hi, yes I am on liquids for 3 weeks. My program doesn’t use protein shakes. I’m so glad someone else felt hungry- because I thought I was crazy. Also- when did you start feeling restriction? Was it when you went on more solid foods?

Did anyone feel hungry after surgery?
I don’t know if it’s head hunger, but I feel like I was literally hunger after surgery. Still to this day. I’m 3 days out. Is it because I’m on liquids and everyone is eating food around me? Also- my surgeon says the hunger feeling may be just irritation to the lining of my stomach from surgery. Please tell me other people felt hungry?? I know it’s only 3 days out but what if my stomach is too big or this isn’t going to work for me
