I Was Wondering

Recommended Posts

Definately can only have the thin crispy crust. I have tried the regular crust and it always gets stuck. I also stick with pepperoni and veggies as the sausage and hamburger not matter how much I chew always seems to get stuck. I wish I could tolerate english muffins, half of one would be the perfect size for me. If anyone has tried those sandwich thins let me know how that works. I can eat a sandwich now by replacing the bread with a toasted sandwich thin.

THIN CRUST, KNIF FORK AND SMALL BITES! Every food that you introduce will require you to go slowly and learn how to eat it with a band. I can't eat a hard boiled or scrambled eggs, but prime rib goes down just fine. The first few months I lived on deli meat , club crackers, tuna or chicken salad (hellman's light) sharp cheader Protein Shakes and Water. It was all I wanted to try after getting past the Soup. Now I really don't eat any of because I don't want it anymore. If you eat pizza don't forget that it can swell in your tummy so don't drink at least half an hour befor or after. Good luck.

I eat pizza no problem. In the beginning I would make them alot with these really thin pita breads. I would put it in the toaster oven and it got pretty crispy. I would top with sauce, cheese and some low fat turkey pepperoni.

My 1st ever slimming and stuck was on pizza. Be careful! I was not filled yet, and it tasted real good, ate it either too fast, or too much, and it was a disaster!!!But, as otehr say, stick to thin crust, and the crunchier the better; don't have much on it, maybe just cheese and sauce. Good luck. Karen

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
