Recommended Posts

I went to my seminar on 7/25/11. I was told to stay at 1200 calories, 50-80 Protein, no more than 68grms Carbs, 64 oz Water & exercise at least 3 X a week.

I keep that in mind but don't usually get to 1200 anymore! I sure get the Protein. I finally signed up for myfitnesspal this week. great way to keep track of your food intake.

I exercise every day now, I park far from the store to walk more, it is such a change from the old me!

Enjoy the ride!!!

I'm reaching my 70 g Protein a day. But I'm falling short on calories. But I'm also still in the mushy stage now.

I mainly just count my Proteins, make sure i get 70 grams at least daily. then i just kind of watch what else i eat, making sure it is lower calorie, lower fat things. i don't really watch my carbs too much, i can eat Pasta and whole wheat bread with no issues. i am 8 months out and have lost 50 lbs and 4 to 5 dress sizes now. i can wear a size XL and it has been forever since i could do that. i am 10 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight with my first son and i can't tell you how estactic i am about that. i also do lots of walking and do cardio/weights 3 days a week.

I've started walking with the kiddos. But I wasn't sure myself how many calories I should be taking in. I'm aiming for 800 calories bc sometimes I don't even make that. But I do make my 70 g Protein. I was hoping I could get an average from the seasoned bandsters.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
