Loose skins question for those under 30 yrs olda

Hey I am 26 and was wondering if those of you around my age had good skin elasticity after the weight came off? It is coming off pretty quickly and am a lil concerned.

Thanks!

Take the s off the end of skins and change the olda to old. Damn iPhone. Ha

I'm 20, was banded at 19 and my skin hasn't gone back to normal; i don't expect it to. I'm looking at having a TT soon :)

I am now 42 but I lost a ton of weight in my early 20's (unfortuatly didn't stay off for long) and my skin bounced back. This time it didn't, I have had a tummy tuck, boobs and a face lift. I hope your skin bounces back and you don't need more surgery.

I think I depends, how long you were overweight and genectics may also help, in addition to youth. I am 39 yrs old, have 2 kids but, I have been overweight for 15 yrs...by the looks of my tummy, I don't think it will ever be back. It just hangs over like a flap. I still have alot more weight to lose. I am just hoping I can get a TT in the future.

I am 25 banded at 24 and lost about 60 lbs as of right now. My skin was terrible at first and i jumped into getting a tummy tuck. I wish I had waited because my skin is still changing.

I was going to get a breast lift but in the 2 months between my consultation and the surgery day my boobs changed so much my doc cancelled my surgery when he saw how things had changed. I went from a d to a b and I'm glad I didn't rush into a lift.

Working out helped a lot with my skin I find.

I'm 28, I've lost 50# with the band and 115# from my highest weight. So far, my skin is bouncing back ok. I'm worried about my inner thighs though and of course my lower abdomen. My boobs have hung for as long as I can remember. When the time comes, I will definitely be getting them fixed. That's something I always promised myself. The only other thing I probably would get done is if I still have a lot of hanging skin on my lower stomach, I just would want it removed, not really a TT, just get it cut off.

I'm 23 and I have 70-80 lbs to lose. I hope my skin snaps back in place, but I'm almost certain that I will need a TT and perhaps a breast life or augmentation if I lose my boobs (I'm only a 38C now). I have a huge gut.

Should I even bother in case I have kids in the future and all the PS goes to waste?

I hate my paunch <_< Most of my excess weight is centralized in my gut and if I could just cut it off now, I would! I don't even mind the rest of my body. Ug, if only extensive super-liposuction were an option. (venting)

I would wait until after you have children to get plastic surgery. Your body will change with pregnancy.
