How did you make your shakes?

Recommended Posts

I start my pre-op diet tomorrow and I have all of my Meal Replacement mix ready with some recipes from my office on what we can add (fruits, honey, milk, etc). Did you have a blender at work to blend your stuff? Did you make your shakes in the morning and use refrigerator at work? I know it seems silly, but I'm an over thinking and I am trying to map out everything to a tee.

I work from home but you might consider looking at a "personal blender" like magic bullet, or the Hamilton Beech version. Mine cost $15 dollars. It's small enough to fit in your desk. You could premix and carry the wet and dry ingrediants and mix them together at work.

I mixed mine with 10 oz of Water so I had a plastic cup with a strainer in it - traditional Protein Shake glass. Good luck to you!!! You sound very excited and that strong positive attitude will take you far!

I love my blender cup from GNC. It won't blend fruit of course, but it has a little whisk ball in it that blends beautifully! And it's easy to clean, I just put some soap and Water in it and shake it again, then rinse. I plan to take mine back and forth with me to work with my powder already in it and just buy a milk at the cafeteria.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
