  1. Ok I see this post is from Feb so I think Rootman is better I hope, but the info about fluids and Tums is good for all the newbies. Sip, sip, sip!!
  2. You really do look beautiful sweetie, now OWN it!! :cheer2:
  3. Wow, in just 3.5 months!! That's awesome, congrats!
  4. Congrats on being sleeved!!!
  5. It can also be the sleeve spasms. Sometimes you can try different temperature fluids like warm tea. Some sleeves just don't like cold temps at first.
  6. How exciting!! Good luck for an easy surgery and speedy recovery!!
  7. It seems my midsection is taking the longest to shrink too. The place I need to shrink the most!! Maybe its just not as noticable if it's the thickest part. I can definitely tell behind the steering wheel that there is much more space between my tummy and the steering wheel.
  8. Congrats, you're doing great!! I hope you are feeling better now. I bet the drs were impressed with your progress! Way to go!
  9. That would make me so mad too!! Keeping my fingers crossed that you get to keep your surgery date!

  14. Hi Don, congrats on the weight loss!! Good to hear about your diabetes, mine has also improved I am so glad!! Thats one of the biggest reasons I wanted surgery
  15. Haha! I like 80's fashion! But you really do deserve to treat yourself to some new stuff! The main thing is, you feel good in your clothes. Congrats on the weight loss!
  16. It's almost sleeve time for you! I am very happy for you and look forward to reading an update. Sending you lots of good positive and healing energy. I hope you have an easy surgery and speedy recovery!
  17. Your post is very motivating!! Wow, you downloaded a lot of exercise videos, makes for a good variety so you don't get bored! Where do you download and how much $ if you don't mind my asking? I was just wondering if it's the same price as buying them somewhere. You GO girl!
  18. At 6 wks out your swelling has probably gone away inside your sleeve, allowing for more food/drink. 1 1/2 T is very little food, unless he was talking about dense protein/meat. Shakes and yogurt you may not feel as much restriction so you may be able to drink a good bit. But dense protein should be a different story. I would definitely measure everything and at this early point I would not be eating any kind of bread. Not just because of calories, but it swells inside your tummy. For me, if I started even a little bread at this point, it would progress to more and more in the near future, which would kinda defeat why I had this surgery. I know I will eventually have a little bread on special occasions, but way further out, not during the "honeymoon" stage. Good luck!
  19. Congrats on being sleeved, and I'm happy to hear you're having an easy recovery! :cheer2:

  24. I have a Gazelle Glider that is great, because I have a bad back/hip problem, and it's easy on my joints. I have also been seeing tons of exercise stuff at yardsales lately. I am considering getting the Wii Fit since I already have the Wii system.
