Stick a fork in me....

Woo hoo! Surgery was this afternoon with Dr. Aceves and it went great. He even repaired an undiagnosed hiatal hernia while in there. I've been walking, sucking on my spirometer, and chilling :) I can't say enough about Dr. Aceves and his team. So far, simply amazing. Practically no pain and hardly any indication Ive had anything done so I'm being careful to not overdo it. I realize the pain could intensify at any point, so at this time I am counting my blessings! God is good.

Thank you for the all then encouragement both public and private from you all. Looking forward to doing this TOGETHER!

Awesome! Glad your surgery went well. :)

Glad to hear that all is well! I also had a hiatal hernia that I didn't know about repaired. Ask for their shaved ice chips, they are so good!

The first 24 hours were the most uncomfortable for me but each day saw improvement. Get plenty of rest while your body is still in shock & by day 3 you'll feel much better!

Congrats again!
