  2. I showered on day three after surgery. Baths are not recommended until incisions are healed so as not to infect the incisions

  5. ksangster and fannyf, My surgery was may 23, 2011. I started at 223lbs and now I am at 159lbs. You will have a few weeks where you won't drop a pound but then you will have a big drop. Try to get back on your eating plan. Once you start the carb overload you will lose weight very slowly. If you can, put yourself back on the Protein Shakes for a few days and drink plenty of Water. If you sit at a desk for work then try to do leg lifts in your chair and also chair crunches. It really works. I hope this is helpful. Good luck to you. Feel free to contact me any time.

  10. Hi, I'm in San Diego. My surgery was on May 23, 2011. To date have lost 30lbs. It's slow for me though. I need to exercise more but am so tired from work. Hope you are well and losing lots of weight.

  14. I am open to what is best foe everyone else. I don't have children so I am flexible. As for the surgery, I am doing well. My weight loss is really slow...very frustrating.
  15. my surgeon is Dr. Tanaka. I am also a Kaiser member. My class facilitator was Barbara and we met on Thursday evenings at 4pm.
