NSV I guess, hell it is!!!!

Recommended Posts

So at the start of my journey a year ago I weighed 309 lbs. At the day of surgery I was 251 and today I'm down to 170.2. Yes I am an addict to my scale. I mean so damn bad that the battery died and I swear I went into convulsions. It's hard to believe that this is my body and I do take pics almost everyday so it will register in my head that yes I am thinner and not the 300lb blob that I still see myself as. I'm not to comfortable in my saggy skin just yet but hey heres what I look like in my first tank top since I had surgery. My hard work is starting to pay off I would think.

If you are undecided still, do it and you will not regret anything at all. My hubby has even decided to have the surgery after he was against it

You look fabulous, please tell me what exercises (if any) you have done, you look very toned to me. Also what is your typical food menu week? I want to learn from such a success!!!

I work out pretty much everyday, I have a weight machine here at home, a stationary bike, xbox kinect workouts and while I'm at work I climb the stairs from the basement to the 12th floor (thats 14 flights). I'm really active, always moving. I'm currently waiting for the gym to open up by my house which will be in two weeks. My food intake well its bad, I do have chips every so often and 1 cookie. I do everything in moderation. But because I workout alot I have to keep my calories up somehow or I plateau for awhile. But mostly I do my Protein shakes in the morning, a Protein Bar for a snack, salad for lunch w/turkey and dinner is whatever we make. I do stay away from breads and pastas, just not ready for them yet.

Oh don't let the pic fool you my arms sag and bad you just cant see it, the skin is hiding under my arm :D . My thighs are all wrinkley to where I will not wear shorts in public.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
