October 2009 Here I come

Hey..... On track for surgery. Me and my fiance are scheduled for 10/26/09. We have to weigh under 350 lbs in order to get the surgery, so we are on a diet working towards our goal. He has lost 25 lbs and I have lost 21 lbs. We are a little stagnant right now but we try to keep in perspective our ultimate goal which is to feel better, be healthier and look better :). Currently our goal is to lose another 30 lbs before 10/2/09. This is our final appointment prior to our surgery. We have to be under 350 on this date or we will not have surgery. So essentially we are looking for others who are going for surgery in 10/2009. We are located in New York.

Good Luck All

To see the pounds come off and finally feel like you are in control of your eating not a victim to it is the most incredible feeling in the world...in a couple of weeks you will be so happy you took this step. Please feel free to ask any questions (mrscutecuban@gmail.com) and I will gladly help out however I can.

Surgery tmrw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY

Hi Everyone! I was banded on 10/22 and although I am a little sore I am doing well. I was able to spend the night in the hospital and went home the next afternoon. My doc did have to repair a severe hiatal hernia too. I am going to go back to work tomorrow for a half day. Take care everyone :cryin::wink2:

Hi Everyone

I had surgery on October 22nd and a little sore, hungry every two hours but so far so good. I am looking forward to keeping up with this forumn to get support and track progress. I had my surgery in Illinois with the Kane Center & Alexian Brothers. My surgeon was Dr Rantis. I started out at 246 and my goal weight is 140 :cursing:

I had my surgery in Mexico 10/16, and i am feeling pretty good. I have had some reflux, which is a little scary, but I think it is from drinking too much at a time...
