I finally feel like a sucess story

Recommended Posts

So, I finally feel like I can post here, because I finally feel like a sucess story.

Right before I started my journey, I had given up on ever losing weight again. I was starting to learn to live with my weight and the fact that I would never be able to have children because of my weight and the PCOS. I was stuck in a catch 22. I was gaining weight because of my PCOS and couldn't lose the weight because of my PCOS.

Well now everything is different. I have lost 100lbs, dropped 12 sizes, and gained so much confidance in my self. If someone said to me the day of surgery that I would actually loose over 100lbs with this procedure, I think I would of laughed in their face. I knew that I was dropping the weight, but I never thought it would make me feel this good about myself.

Now, looking to my future, I know there is hope for me. I feel that I have restarted my life...

Hey, you look WONDERFUL!

Isn't this a great moment, when you can feel like you can post a photo and feel PROUD?

You've accomplished a LOT, and you SHOULD feel proud.

I'm just waiting for the Victoria's Secret pictures.....you DO have some VS stuff, don't you....?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
