What was your surgery date and how much are you down since?

Recommended Posts

Surgery was on May 12th and I had my first fill yesterday. I have lost 15 lbs since surgery and 25 from the start of the 6 month insurance requested diet.

I was banded 4 weeks ago and have lost right on 15 pounds since the actual day of surgery.

I'm so happy- I'm down 2 dress sizes and have to stop myself from buying new clothes as I know I'm going to lose a whole lot more!

I am really looking forward to my first fill in 5 days, mainly as I have been going all out at the gym in the past week and I can't wait to compare my muscle and fat percentages with what they were 4 weeks ago.

Surgery date - May 29th. I was 240.

This morning, I was 230. (I updated my ticker - gotta go update my numbers in my signature.) I lost a lot before surgery, too.

Happy as a clam.

sorry just read this was a may 2009 thread

That's okay. It's really great to see people losing a lot of weight over time. I think it gives everyone more confidence that they'll lose a lot more. GB

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
