I know better then to do it everyday, but I wanna make sure I'm getting results!

How often do you weigh yourselves and what time ?(morning before anything, middle of the day?)

Almost every morning - naked, after my "business" and before I eat or drink anything! This is NOT a good idea when you are having "monthly gain!" I need to weight less often and I would be less wacked out about little Water gains. I weighed close to every day pre-op, too . . . I was actually losing faster then . . . alas . . but I had a lot more to lose then, too! Best of luck!!

i'm only weighing myself once a week. otherwise, i don't want to be a slave to the scale, you know? i have also been warned that i may gain when i go back on solid foods (metabolism and such) so i do not want to get too set on the loss.

I am almost embarrassed to type this. I am a slave to the scale. I do weigh myself every morning 1st thing after potty, before drinking breakfast! LOL!!! But, I also, weigh myself EVERY time I go into the bathroom where the scale is. And I mean EVERY time. Why I do this, I don't know, but I do know I am addicted to the scale.

yeah weighing everyday takes a toll on you emotionally, and I just can't take the dissapointment! once a week or even every few days at least you know where you stand and can see your progress.

weighed today -2lbs :)

During the pre-op diet -- once a week

After banding -- every single day, and when the scale didn't show what I wanted/expected, I bought a new scale.< /p>

Then I decided I was being too obsessive even for me. Now I step on the scale once a month when I go in for my check-up and that is all. In between I go only on "how good a day did I have today with food & exercise" and "how do my pants fit this time."

Opps! Count me in for this program, too!

Drives my husband crazy, and, quite frankly, accomplishes NOTHING but making me feel bad.

Don't know why I still do it! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
