I find when pulling my hair back makes me feel sexy because I'm not trying to hide my beautiful face behind my hair and it accentuates my jaw line - small double chin and all and I like my shoulders - I have sexy shoulders. :)

I have GREAT legs! My mama and all of my friends love my legs. I always joked if I could get the rest of my body to match my legs I would be Dangerous! I was born with a birth defect that has my face bigger on one side than the other. My top lip is bigger on one side than the other, had many surgeries to correct it. I have just lost about 19 lbs with this band and my face is really shrinking! When I lost weight in the past my face NEVER showed it. Now everyone is like whoa! I feel beautiful! For the first time in my life I know I am pretty! Wait until I lose about 60 more pounds I just might be DANGEROUS! LOL LOL

P.S. ALex- You are very intelligent, that is sexy. The way I see you with your children in your pictures suggest a loving and caring mother that is sexy. You have a beautiful smile and that is sexy. Girl you have it going on, remember sexy is as sexy does! You are one of my inspirations to go from over 350lbs to 215ish ..rocks! I look to you as a motivator. I couldn't see myself in the 200lb range but when I look at your before and after pics I am inspired. So you rock and anyone I think rocks is sexy ..so there! LOL LOL

You all are so sweet. But Alex said exactly how I feel. I never felt sexy, but some times when the wind is blowing a certain way, and the moon is ....blah blah blah, you get the picture lol I might feel pretty... but thats rare.

There is one time that I felt pretty and that was on my wedding day. I felt like a princess in my gown :D

Dee Dee YOU GO GIRL !!!!!!!!! I bet your stunning.

Angie, your a very attractive lady... I peeked too :) and your children are beautiful.

You know what I've found attractive about all of you is your big hearts, the way you all lift others spirits up :D or is that sexy.

My left foot is very sexy. (Both of my feet would be - but I lost my big toe on my right foot in an accident many years ago - it's still kinda cute too though.) cheeky.gif

Don't you think that we all find different things attractive or "sexy"?

I know that when I watch my husband play with our son, that makes me VERY attracted to him. I love seeing his caring and sweet side come out. Or when he gets playful with me and starts tickling or says something cute, that's very attractive to me too.

I'm not real big into the whole world view of what "sexy" is either, as far as having to be a size 3 or having to have luscious full lips or a curvy flat body. I see other things as being much sexier than those other outward things.

A pure heart that's full of love means more to me than the "sexiest" man alive.

Sexy, attractive... I think at the heart of it the problem that I have is that I don't like my body and that is what I need to work on. If I get to the point where I think I'm sexy, that doesn't have to mean by today's media standards you know? It's more about self acceptance I think. The bottom line is probably that I need to love my body more, no matter what it looks like. I am stuck with it after all :)

I think I have a nice rack. I seem to be losing it a bit, but I am going to get the girls fixed when I reach goal. I hate hate hate my back fat. And my arms are too big. I need to tone them!

I totally agree with you here. JUST this morning - I was soooooo attracted to my future fiancee' because he did my laundry and hung up a towel rack for me in my private bathroom. LOL - and then I watch how he interacts with our old basset/beagle dog named Tucker - he was making baby talk saying "Tucker want a cookie? Yea, Tucker wants a cookie, good boy!" - and after seeing my laundry done and the towel rack and my trash emptied - made me want to call in sick to work for some sweet lovin! Ah well it can wait till tomorrow :) I just think its wonderful what different people find attractive.

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.
