LOL...no worries! I don't like the pink team much anyway.

I really like Tara more and more.

Oooh...and that good looking blue team!

did you hear Bob fussing with his team about them not sending Dane home? Gosh, he has taken on Jullian's spirit. LOL

They both were pretty ugly tonight.

The pink team, I don't care which one goes home.

I just assumed he was gay.

Well, yeah, so does hubby. I was being nice saying femme. I've already alienated mothers, hard-core Christians, Mexicans, liberals, husbands, and people who eat double-double cheeseburgers the day after surgery. Figured I would try to save face with the gays.

Me!

I just watched the pink team not make the goal they needed of 10 pounds. They got the benefit of the gym, but apparently that didn't really help them. Guess they should have worked harder instead of making banners and making a "lounge."

yeah, that's what DH and i were thinking...

***DISCLAIMER: SPOILER...DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED THE SHOW YET***

I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet, lol.

I don't like pink either. I'm really surprised that the mother didn't want to keep Shanon there, especially since she had more weight to lose. I got the feeling that Shanon wasn't as set on going home as she made out. The mom came across as selfish to me, but I'm a little pissy today, lol. Honestly, I would have been fine with both of them going home.

I'm really liking Tara too! How can you not love her determination and drive. She's amazing!! I thought Laura did better this week. Tara casts a pretty big shadow though. I just hope Laura can keep up...

Not that there's anything wrong with that....

Mornin' Crew!

I actually liked the show a lot last night...creative ways of working out with no access to a gym - that was cool. What is up with the brown and pink teams having access to the gym and then NOT posting big numbers on the scale? Well, brown did pretty well - Dad needs to STAY in the pool and stay off his knees to help his weight loss - and the son did really well.

Pink annoys me - the daughter with her whining - and I don't think she really wanted to go home, she just said that and I think she was hoping Mom would contradict her and go home. I think she needed it more, but Mom is a stronger competitor.

Green team - gotta love Tara - more and more each week she impresses me with her effort. Had a bit of a meltdown this week, but after so much, who wouldn't? She has a bit of a slug for a team mate and in challenges where she is depending on her, it sucks.

Next week seems to be the week for shaking up the teams - and there will be a new blue team and a new black team. One more way to create drama...

Bob seems to be channelling Jillian lately - what is up with that? And crying next week? WTF? I guess I'm too hardcore - I love it when Jillian gets all psycho on people and snaps them out of whatever pity party they are having.

On to next week! :blushing:

I think Tara's meltdown may not have lasted that long. When she was asking for 5 seconds, my heart went out to her. I think she's strong enough to go breath and then come back hard core again. I'm glad she's still there and in it.

Pink - ugh. The mom's the only in the house that has talked about "playing the game" and DH and I think she told the daughter - you go home because I have a shot at the money.

I'm pissy today, too, I guess! :blushing:

I'm not sure about Bob being gay...I've been on his myspace page and it could be propaganda, but he's got pictures of what looks like a family. This was last season with Vicki...so it's been a while. I thought he said that he was married...or had been.

I dunno...memore isn't what it used to be.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
