Hi! I've been without power for almost a week...it's good to be back! Last week, we had to stay with friends and I was at the mercy of the people we stayed with...but my eating was "okay". I made it to the gym a couple of days but otherwise didn't do as well. Oh well, life happens.

Good to see how well you all are doing!

I just have to post this afternoon because when I stepped on the scale this a.m. I was down 2 pounds from Friday. I went away this weekend and saw a friend from high school. We've been friends for over 40 years (I can't believe that's even possible). Not only was I able to stick to bandster rules, but we walked (and talked & talked:biggrin:). She set the pace and today my butt hurts! But I'm thrilled. I'm now below the goal I set for myself for this Friday.:w00t:

I have gained 1.3 lbs in the past 2 days. I guess I haven't been as good as I wanted. The past few days I have gone to ballgames and had some tootsie pops. With 60 calories it isn't bad, but the 15 carbs in each one probablly didn't help. I guess I need to get back to the basics and stop eating it just because I want it. That has always been my downfall. If I'm not hungry I can't eat it!

Another week down and this next week will be better!

Carry a bottle of Water everywhere you go. When you want to stick something in your mouth, DRINK WATER. It fills you up and it's good for you.

Rememer, yesterday is gone. Start new today.

This is sooo true! I would do so much better if I'd drink more water - thanks for extra push!

Hello Hello!! Just wanted to say hello. :tt2: I had my band completely unfilled for a month and was incredibly depressed :tt2: I have been prepetually suffering with post op stomach pain that remains undiagnosed so removal may be an option.

Until then, I am going to lose as much as I can! I am back up to 5ccs and feeling it!! You are all doing WONDERFUL!!! How is all of your days going today and when do the before and after shots start coming in?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
