What does everyone do for a living?

I noticed a lot of you girl and guys are on during morning hours and less at night so im thinkin you all are at work. Im a stay at home mom and i redeliver newspapers to people who did not get them on the weekends...

I dont work right now as much because i have gotten to a point where i feel almost embarrassed to get a job. I have a hard time working in an office because i dont have the right clothing to wear and anything that looks office appropriate in my size is like 35 years older than me..;):D Well the benefits of seeing my daughter grow up right now are far greater than an office job so for now its ok, but i can be a sit on my azz mom forever....its time to get moving and get my career goin....

So anyway just curious what you all do for a living and basically just tryin to get a feel for you all.

p.s. i dont think ive ever used "you all" in a post so many times!!

I am currently a stay at home mom and I have recently started a bakery business that is starting to take off. In my past life I was an Interior Designer for a large firm in Houston. When my son, who is now 4 going on 14, goes to school I will most likely go back to Design because that is where my heart is.

isn't it hard working in a bakery and not wanting to eat everything in sight???? Sounds like a wonderful job- with wonderful smells all day long.

So Drama Queen, I am currently looking for floor plans to build my dream home, will you be on board to help with the interior designing when we are done building??? Just keep in mind that I'll be broke and won't be able to afford you, LOL...Oh man, I couldn't work in a bakery, breads, cakes and donuts are my weakness...I would probably weight a ton is I ran a bakery, It would probably go broke from me eating all the goods...

So juju where does your screen name come from??? My three year old son's nickname is JuJu. That is so funny that your screen name is the same as his nickname. My four year old called him that cause she couldn't pronounce Jr. So now everyone calls him JuJu, even everyone at daycare.

I teach high school English andsocial studies. Only 4 more weeks till summer!!!! Jen

I am a full time criminal justice student and when I am not at school I am a stay at home mom/"housewife". I hate the term housewife but I couldn't think of another word at the time. :) I am currently torn between wanting to go into corrections administration or going to law school with I am done with my associates of criminal justice.

I work in the ND State Budget Office and prepare the Governor's executive budget for higher education, transportation, agricultural research, and Human Services (medicaid, tanf, jobs, etc)

I also teach undergraduate governmental accounting and public finance at a local university.

For a life - I travel.

I'm a figure skater and a movie star, but things are slow so I'm a paralegal with a real estate license till things pick up. Anyone know if the Ice Capades are hiring yet?

I am a career specialist for a non profit agency assisting unemployed or underemployed community members become employed in self sufficient careers. I also assist students with financial aid. I just wrote and was awarded a grant to fund the heath care industry in training the most need in our community is CNA. Finally I am the agency facilitator for soft skills training, job retention workshops, and personal improvement workshops for our 6 county region.

I also so the books for my husbands companies. He owns and operates a steel fabricating company and a bar.

And I have 3 kids. 18,17, and 15. The oldest is graduating Sunday - yehw 1 down 2 to go by the time I am 40 I will be skinny, no children, and hopefully rich - ok 2 out of 3 isn't bad goal.

I am in sales for an electrical distribution company. We sell to Home Depot

Lowes, and local hardware stores. I work 4 10 hr days a week with every

Friday off (changed jobs when my 8 year old son was born so I could have more

time with him). Hubby is an airline mechanic.

Somebody put a red circle around the English teacher's grammatical error! Haha, too funny, but I'm only playing. Couldn't resist that one!

Incredible...what a great diverse group of people that connect on a personal level through technology. I've enjoyed reading about everyone else's jobs. I'm an RN and have been for many years. I've been in the medical field for 27 years and an RN for 21 years. I'm currently the Director of Patient Care Services at a large hospital here. I've noticed many people have gone back to school or are thinking about it. I started back a few years ago to get my BS after being out of school for 20 over 15 years and it was very intimidating, but enjoyed it so much that I went ahead and got my Masters also in Health Services Administration. Enjoy life...while we all "get skinny" together!
