What does everyone do for a living?

I noticed a lot of you girl and guys are on during morning hours and less at night so im thinkin you all are at work. Im a stay at home mom and i redeliver newspapers to people who did not get them on the weekends...

I dont work right now as much because i have gotten to a point where i feel almost embarrassed to get a job. I have a hard time working in an office because i dont have the right clothing to wear and anything that looks office appropriate in my size is like 35 years older than me..;):D Well the benefits of seeing my daughter grow up right now are far greater than an office job so for now its ok, but i can be a sit on my azz mom forever....its time to get moving and get my career goin....

So anyway just curious what you all do for a living and basically just tryin to get a feel for you all.

p.s. i dont think ive ever used "you all" in a post so many times!!

I'm a project account for a large Construction company.. I just came off a 2 year+ seismic retrofit job in Seattle. The job I'm currently working on is a 150 million dollar mixed use project in Bellevue Washington. Also mom to a 3+year old redheaded terror named Sophie--Hubby was laid off last year (longshoreman)and went back to school to get a teaching certificate.

Everyone sounds so great and what interesting mix of people!!!

I personally own a flower shop, work full time in the erosion control field (have to have soil for those flowers) DH is a farmer. Have 2 kids, son 14, daughter 5. Hoping to be a bandster soon.

I work for the number one cancer hospital in the United States of America!!! (according to U.S. News and World Reports)

:))

Wow, you guys have neat jobs!!!

Don't knock being a stay at home mom. If I had kids, I would quit the first day!!!

Nita, do you have a website of your work??

I work as a deejay for a radio station. I am also the Program director, music director, and any other hat that fits that day. It may sound like fun, but, pay sucks!!! I have been doing it now for 12 years and getting burned out. I would like to get into Website Design.

Denise,

I sure hope no one knocks being a stay at home mom(or dad). Between all the work I do I also do all the house work...inside and out. My wife works very hard and her hours are so off norm that it doens't give her the chance on weekdays to do the house cleaning and cooking. SO I do... and because of this I know for a fact it is the hardest of all jobs and the pays sucks big time. Only benifit is the satisfaction of caring for the needs of the family. Wife handles it all on weekends which gives me a break.

Im a Firefighter/Paramedic for the last 11 years. Also own an Insurance Agency withethe boss (wife). She has been in insurance for about 8 years..our own biz is new this year..

I am a home daycare provider so that makes me a teacher, parent, cuddler, nurse, language consultant, parenting counselor, gym teacher, etc......I have been doing this for almost 11 years after the birth of my 3rd child.

Wow there are a lot of banded nurses. I have one more year of nursing school left!!! I also work part time at beach bar called Off the Wall here on St Croix. This was a great, I love learning about others.

I am a part-time Outpatient Surgery R.N. and full-time mom of 4 kids ages 3,7,9, and 11. I've been a nurse for `14 yrs, and work 2 to 3 days a week from 6am to 2pm. (no nights, weekends or holidays)

I love, love, love both of my jobs!

We are self employed. Have a dairy and a farm (DH likes to call himself a food producer.) Raised 6 kids on the farm.
