"Here is Princess_n_Thep remarks on this picture"

princess_n_thep:

THESE PICTURES ARE 12 DAYS POST OP!

Both pictures show the very minmal scars/incisions. The bruising I had was very minimal. The brown/yellow rings you see around the actual incisions is NOT bruising but is the leftover "superglue" still. I take a shower EVERY day and wash them but they are slow to come off. From what I gather, they "glue" the incisions, let that dry, then put a "coating of glue" over and around the incisions again. The scab had just fallen off on the top incision so it is a little pink, my bra had scuffed it off. The only real bruising i got was the one top of the belly button. The one that was the most sore was the longer port incision.

I am VERY happy with the size of them and the expertise in the cut! I know that I am a fast healer but I expect that I would be hard pressed to find the smaller ones in 6 months. I will just keep posting updates on this thread as I go along. I plan to take another picture at 6-8 weeks post op, another at 6 mo, then another at a year.

ENJOY MY BELLY!!!!!!!!

I've had both staples and glue.

I had staples when I had my daughter in October 2004 (c-section). You can barely see the staple "dots" but they aren't that bad.

Honestly I was scared because I had glue that my guts were going to fall out or open back up.. funny the things you think when you wake up from anesthesia!

Scar question-I just got banded on 11/29, and I feel great overall. I just have one incision area (right under my left breast) that is really bothering me. This one looks really painful-more of a puncture than a cut-and it hurts whenever I bend or move-is this normal? I had my doctor check them out right after I got back and he said they looked good. Is this normal?

1 day post op self portrait with cell phone :-). I think someone stuck a bicycle pump up my butt and filled me up with air - ugh!

Hello Everyone: Just got banded 3 weeks ago, and I would like to offer my support to anyone and also get support from anyone that likes to share their journey with mw, gracias. Im in the Dallas area.

Welcome, Senorita! You posted on a thread about scar pics. If you haven't already, go to the main page and find the Introduction thread. Once in that thread, find the New Thread button. Post your introduction over again and I'm sure you'll get lots and lots of warm welcomes.

Here is a pic of one of my small scars and of my big scar.. its been a year.

The big scar is wrinkling.. it used to be smooth, but as I lost weight it wrinkled up like my stretchmarks are doing.
