First Pair of 14 Jeans!!

This is my new reality. I have gone from a size 28 that was too tight, in just a short 5 months to a size 14. I bought them last yesterday and I love them. I am so proud of myself. Although I have seen little to no scale movement in the past month I have seen my size go down 2 pant sizes so things are a changing.

I am thrilled with my BAND and it is certainly my best friend. I still have no fill and will talk about this with my surgeon next month on the 13th when I see him for my 6 month check.

What a great feeling it is!!`

Kristin,

I just had to reply to your post because a few days ago, I bought my first pair of size 14 jeans in over 10 years. Yaaayyyyy us! Goodluck in the rest of your weight loss journey!

Congratulations on size 14 jeans!! You must look and feel amazing!!

I will be banded on May 1st. I am going to work hard until I get into size 14 myself!!

I just can't imaging myself being that small!! I do have photos of myself from when I was much smaller, so I will be posting them in a prominent place to keep me motivated.

keep up the good work!! You all inspire me!!!:thumbup:

Kristen1031, I'll be banded at the end of this month and am a little nervous about all of the pain and the changes I'll be making. How has it been for you? Did it take you long to adjust to your new life with the band?

Wow, that's great, congratulations!! Size 14 is my goal for 2008; I'm hoping to hit it by Christmas.

Wow! You are such an inspiration to me! I can only hope that once I am banded I will do half as great as you. Congrats on your new milestone and keep up the great work!!!:tongue_smilie:

Kristin I am so happy for you! You are doing great! I can't wait to be in 14's. I hope to be there by the middle of May.

Hey gals...leave some size 14's for those of us slowly approaching that size! The way all you posters are talking, there won't be any left!:glare:

Congratulations!

THAT'S MY GOAL TOO!!!! I am pretty much a size 16 now across the board but I am oh so close to squeezing in to my size 14 jeans!!! I figure another 10lbs and I'm there, hopefully to coincide with my trip back home to Australia in June!!

Congrats to all of you who have come so far. You are truly inspirational!!!

Not at all I had little to no problems adjusting it has really been smooth sailing so far. I have to admit that I was not so sure at first, but I am sold totally that I made the best decision for myself that I could of ever done! I love the band. Congratulations on your date....and good luck!!
