  3. You know what i'm not sure if you have a hmo or ppo but if u have a ppo find another Dr. now!! That is insane there is no way they can do that to you, or should i say they shouldnt do that to you..you have come to far to pick the weight back up.. They really need to be more aggressive with the fills at this point you know what a restriction feels like!!
  4. I am not a milk drinker either, but i use 1% milk it's just like water... use lots of ice and blend it really good... and wait about 5-min until things settle then get a straw and drink it fast... that helped me because i dont like the after taste from milk
  5. Yes babe you are too tight I found out the hard way, if u can't keep liquids down get some of the fill out..
  6. Are you working out?
  7. you still have a ways to go. once u get to your sweet spot 12 of an egg will fill u up lol
  8. once you get to that sweet spot or to the point where you have a proper restriction you won't be able to east some of the same things u use too. drinking a shake for breakfast or eating nothing for breakfast worked for me because I am tighter in the morning's also try to chew more and take smaller bites and ssee if that helps
  9. you know we have all been there and I was banded may of 08 and I just serious with my working in january and I want to smack myself sometimes because I should have been at my goal months ago. but pick yourself up and just get moving u can doo it!
  10. Well I will say that once i got up to 7cc's i started working out 5-days a wwk at least 30-min a day... if you are not working out do something.. once i started working out the weight started coming off like crazy... but if you are still hungry and eating more than normal i cant see why you cant get a fill... but i have 9 in a 10cc band and im doing great..
  11. I have never heard of this before...If they are not giving you fills as you need them i would see another Dr. and go from there....
  12. I would think because you have 7cc's now he should only add about .5cc's because if he adds a full cc you wont be able to keep any food down at all.. but if you try it then that should start you back at loosing weight. I Will be honest with you. I should be about 9cc's and the last time i got a fill was in march or either early april lol.. but he only put 1/2cc and i could only eat 1/4 cup of food poss. 2x's a day if that much i wasent hungry at all but thats not a good thing... i have loosened up since and feel great but if he fills you and you are too full let him know....
  13. I wish i had done it a few years ago. I am so much happier with myself, however be prepared for people that will feel threatened by you loosing weight.. it is sad that people cant stand to see people get healthy..but excellent choice and i wish you all the best...
  14. Well now I was banded last May 15th and I still get them exp. after i drink something.. dont ask why but i do and they piss me off... heck i am going to try the sugar thing it cant hurt...
  15. I was just going to say that it sounds like you neek a fill. I wish i could eat 1/2 of anything lol nope not going too happen... lol anyhoo this is the time that you would go in to get a fill is when your weight loss stalls... just like mine was i was stuck for like 3-weeks and i made an apt. got a fill and i have lost over 11 lbs in 2 weeks.. but another thing i have been walking or doing the stair master, or elliptical on my lunch break for the past 4mths and when i say that the weight will melt off like the other post says it WILL TRUST ME....
  16. If you don't watch it you will have 'the last meal syndrome' until the day of your banding... You will still have to rely on your will power once you are banded for at least the first few months until some sort of restriction kicks in...
  17. im tight in the morning and normally warm tea normally helps, but is is kind of annoying when you are trying to take vitamins just forget about it.... norally in the even. i am pretty cool.. you should be ok..
  18. wow.. i have a question where does the smimming come from and is it diffrent from throwing up? Why in the hell do we slime anyway please help me out.. you would think i would know this one but i dont...
  19. I promise i had to check to make sure that i was not reading something that i had wrote... you are so right... i was kind of loosing hope i was taking diet pills because i was so hungry. I think i have about 9.25 or either 9.5cc in my band and i shouldnt need another fill for a long time from now.....lol i lost 6lbs in less than 5days my last fill was on tuesday i will say hold on to anyone you will see the light...
  20. I agree it really is just know to take one day at a time.. Things will seem to go great in the beg. because you cant eat much of anything, but when you start to eat real food the weight loss may slow up a little but dont get sad just keep pushing.. and one thing i will tell you if you want to see quick and regular weight loss start doing some form of excercise at least 5days a week and you will be unstoppable... Congratulations and keep up the great work
  21. You know I use to say the same thing until i actually started workingout. I workout on my lunch at work 30min 5days a week and i have been doing this for the past 14weeks and the weight is melting off... i am kind of pissed at myself because i could have been working out before but i thought just being banded would be enough no matter what i read and no matter what i was told... if you are not excercising start now... something is better than nothing it is getting nice out so just take a nice walk for about 30min and trust you will see the diffrence..
  22. You know what when you first have your band put in you mainly have to rely on your own willpower for the first 4-6months and that is no lie... you will have no restriction after the first 2 fills depending on how much is put in i know i didnt. I was banded may 15th and i felt the first time i felt real restriction was in december of 08. Slow and steady wins the race...at least you didnt have a lemon parfait to go with it and 2 wings..
  23. You are still swollen, and your insides are healing so it will prob. feel like you have a restriction but you really don't your body is getting use to the new tools it has inside...
  24. Yes..i have been there... I was told that once i get to the proper restriction i would not be able to eat that many carbs.. which i love mac & cheese, breads etc... for the first 6mths i was like ahhhhh i can still eat it.. but now hell no!! the most i can tolerate is like 1-spoon of mac and cheese and no breads at all... you will get there where you will feel like you have lost your best friend but this friend i don't mind being without....
  25. My band didn't really start working for me until i had at least 7.5cc's in it... so you will have to rely on your own will power for a little while, because you will be able to eat most of what you ate before until you get to the proper restriction...
