New Job!

Recommended Posts

Well.....just had my administrator sign my extended 1 year leave of absence so I can embark on a new adventure! I will be working for Hynix Semiconductor Manufacturing. I've worked in an office sitting on my butt waaaaaaayyy too long. Now I will be suiting up in a clean suit (they call it a bunny suit....but it looks like a space suit). I will be working in the manufacturing of Dynamic Random Access Memory or DRAM. Anyway, it's a total change of pace for me and I'm very excited. Will start April 25th for a week orientation and then will find out my shift. They work 12 hour shifts, 3 days on-4 days off, then the next week, 4 days on-3 days off.

Anyway, just wanted to share. This whole year has been one of great changes for me and I praise God!

I am very thankful for the support and friendship I receive here at LBT. Thanks guys and gals!

Wow, Darcey, what does all of that mean? Aren't you glad you've lost so much weight before you made this career change?

congrats Darcey! So, what part of the process will you be working on? creating the silcone wafer, assembling the entire chip? And does your facility make other types of memory? (trying to tone down the geek-speak...) I want details! (Maybe PM me so we don't put everybody else to sleep?)

Cheers!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
