sorry don't know what your speaking of. Is it a type of insurance for a state, Mass.??

Try asking under the insurance section if it is or under the state section for Mass. Good luck

Hello there Amanda...

I too am going to UMASS in Worcester. Did you enjoy the orientation? I found it very informative, but the best is after you have had your medical intake with one of the docs (I had Dr. Gitkind who was just great). Then you can go to the discussion group which is unlike the others. It was very supportive, people have had surgery already. There were far more bypassers than banders, but once I asked about the band, several people offered suggestions and support. There is another thread for UMASS bandsters, I cannot quite tell you how to get to it other than to type in UMASS under search and then you will see MaryPetunia as one of the names. It is a bit more active than this particular link you seem to be using. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know! Where are you from? I live in RI right over the Mass line, so it takes me about 40 minutes or so to get to UMASS, but it is so worth it!

CORRECTION: it is under UMASS MEDICAL CENTER BANDSTERS

Best of success. Hope to hear from you anytime.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
