Fast Track/Cincinnati

Recommended Posts

Dear Ohio surgical weight loss patients:

We are opening an exciting new fitness and nutrition center that is dedicated to surgical weight loss patients called the Metabolic Fast Track Weight Loss Center. This place has been designed from the ground up with band, bypass, and sleeve patients in mind. There is specialized toning equipment there to help with excess skin issues, and assisted exercise devices for patients who have too much joint pain to do most types of exercise. This place is much more than a gym though, it's an intensive program designed for surgical weight loss patients that last for 12 months and is overseen by an RN and a registered dietitian. I firmly believe that patients who participate will see much better succes than trying to do it on their own. It is located in Evendale (north Cincinnati) and is open to all patients and in no way would interfere with your surgeon's management of your case.

If you would like to come and check it out, everyone is invited to our Saturday April 5th support group at 11am, we will be touring the facility and demo'ing the equipment.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
