And, to expand on that, I must admit that I have to fight the urge to answer NO to questions like: Will I be okay? Am I bad? I'll be okay, right?, etc.

But, unfortunately, no would be too short of an answer and the fun would be lost.

how about:

no ... ... ...

But "No... Sorry." wouldn't be too short

Every time I see the question "How many calories do you eat a day?" I have to fight the urge to reply with "5 million 6 hundred and thirty. Point two"

Wow Chickie you and I eat the same amount of calories a day. Why haven't I lost as much weight as you dammit?

Because you didn't chase it with half a tanker of Mt.Dew and slime the lot up into the sink .

I only had 20 calories today because I threw up everything all day long and I am so dehydrated. Do you think I should get an unfill? I don't think so because this is the way you're supposed to lose weight.:biggrin:

Oh! You are doing SO well! You will be under goal and wasting away to a anorexic size 6 before you know it! Congratulations!

BooBooKitty,

Ok, I've brought this up before in another thread but truth be told, that cute bull dog puppy is just a pic I found because I found it to be so cuuuute!!! My actual dogs are rescue dogs from Puerto Rico, Moxie a sato girl and Kiba a rescue boy from Hurricane Katrina, a rottie/shepherd mix. The sato looks more like a larger min pin. When I can get my husband to put their pics up I'll change my avatar. Because they are my babies and I love them even when they are rotten, but they are also very spoiled! Especially now that my daughters in 19 and 23 it's easier to baby the dogs! I'll have to search your dog breed on line. I'd love a bull dog but I really can't because these two are more than anyone can handle.

Second truth be told which I haven't told anyone, brandy is the name of my beagle that died a few years ago and she was my favorite dog ever except for the two I have now and she was my second dog so that's where "brandyII" comes from. I named her after that song from the 70s, that went something like "Brandy you're a fine girl what a good wife you would be". Anyway I always liked that song, plus the breeders called her family line Brandywine or something like. Okay tmi for you all, sorry. brandyII.

LOL...well you still have great taste in names even if it isn't yours! Not like we can name ourselves anyway! I was named after that song so I know it very well!

Bullies are a huge amount of work, but worth it. If you rescue you might want to check a english bulldog rescue group. Alot of people spend $2k to get a bullie and get rid of them. We couldn't rescue one because we had small children. Next time we will!

My daughter has an old english bulldog. He is a sweetheart but it's a problem to teach him not to jump on people. Plus my daughter is expecting my first grandbaby any day now, and we are afraid of how is

going to react around the baby.

Oh no, I don't want to be a size 6. I want to be a size 4 so I am glad I can't keep any food down. I will be skinny and beautiful and everyone will be saying

"how did you do that"

No, Your Doctor (the professional) will be asking you for advice on "how you did it", so he can tell all his patients.

And you forgot you'd be sliming up M and M's with the MT Dew.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
