Best of luck Julie. Its the 21st here now, and I thought Ooh, must log on and see how she's going. Forgot that you're some hours behind us.

Think I'll go and google breast lift with augmentation, sigh. Been trying on new bras, lol.

I wanted to pop-in and say 'good luck' tomorrow, I know you are going to do great! Check back in when you feel up to it and take it easy for as long as you need to. It will be so worth it when one day you wake up and feel normal AND your 'jelly roll' is gone . . . Woo Hoo!!! Best of Luck ~ sending only positive thoughts your way!

Julie:

So many of us are thinking about you today. I hope the pain meds knock you out for a few days so that the pain is more bearable when you're with it.

Take care, rest, relax, and recover.:tongue_smilie:

Hi everyone, today is day 2. Yesterday was the worse day. I am off the vocodin now and only on the tylenol with codeine. I am only sore when I have to move around and use the toilet. The thigh lift incision is the worst. He removed 6.2 from my abdomen. My stomach looks really good so far. Tomorrow I go in and he removes one of the drains, the other next week. As soon as I feel fit I'll post my before and after pics. I am resting comfortably and feel really good. The chin strap is a little odd since he did the lippo on my chin. I am bruised on the chin now. I feel really good, just a little sore. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I know I can't wait to see my flat tummy. Thighs look good but they are just wrapped in ace bandages now. I probably will not see the great results until I can get into my girdle next week. I'll be checking lapbandtalk frequently so wish me luck. Thanks again. Julie

Wow, you sound like you're doing well. What kind of incision do you have for the thighs? Or maybe you can't see them yet?

We'll be watching for those photos!

Julie:

Sounds like you are doing great. I thought you would because your optimism and exuberance will help you through the pain and discomfort. It's funny, none of us know each other, but I feel like my Sister had surgery.

Take care and heal well.

Sue

Ouch! Maybe you need some hand or foot massages. At least those parts haven't been sliced, pulled, or suctioned. Hang in there. We will of course be expecting regular updates and lots of pictures! Best wishes.

My thgh incision is the worse. It goes about 4 inches around my thigh near my crotch. That is what is giving me most of the pain when I get out of bed plus trying to sit to use the bathroom. I am still draining out about 75ccs of blood on my left side and the right side can come out tomorrow I believe. I go in to see him tomorrow. I'm also bleeding from the belly button. My belly button is really high now so I don't know if that is what I should expect with a skinny tummy. lol I've never had one that high.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
