Yep, your right but in my best tantrum script "I DONT WANT IT I DONT WANT IT" guess I have been lucky all these years. My blood pressure also bottomed out to 85/55 today went to the nurse at school she suggested I see the Dr. Went to the Dr and he didnt seem overly worried he said if Im not feeling faint then low blood pressure is good, ok.

Well, I come on line to see what is happening and here you are having a tanty - I suppose you are lying on the floor screaming and kicking your feet???

You better be careful, they might put you on Opti for an extra week

Hi there,

I am very new to forums. I am doing the Optifast diet for lapbanding surgery in 4 days.

I have had metallic feeling teeth in the first week which felt awful and acidic stomach pains so bad that I had to eat. Today I have extremely sensitive teeth, which is not something I usally have and it is quite painful.

I was interested to read that some one else had the metalic taste in their mouth as this is not listed anywhere. I had to go through a lot of websites to find someone with a similar problem.

I thought I must have been a real basket case to have these non listed side effects.

Thanks

Mega65

Pre op I did Optifast for 2 meals and then had a Fulfil (new frozen band meals)meal for tea. I lost 12 kilo in 4 1/2 weeks. Breath wasnt too bad but sensitivity to the cold was bad some days. And i was constipated.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
