    Hi there, I am very new to forums. I am doing the Optifast diet for lapbanding surgery in 4 days. I have had metallic feeling teeth in the first week which felt awful and acidic stomach pains so bad that I had to eat. Today I have extremely sensitive teeth, which is not something I usally have and it is quite painful. I was interested to read that some one else had the metalic taste in their mouth as this is not listed anywhere. I had to go through a lot of websites to find someone with a similar problem. I thought I must have been a real basket case to have these non listed side effects. Thanks Mega65
