DUM!!!....

SO! Hopefully tomorrow will be my big day, I was originally scheduled a week ago and got booted cuz the hospital was in "Crisis Mode"

(I'm in AZ and lot's of snowbirds here sucking up our resources! haha.. j/k birdies)

AND My Dr's wife is about to have her baby anyday.. so I might get cancelled AGAIN!! I'm hoping that all the people that were sick taking up my bed last week are well.. AND that my Dr's wife had her baby already!!

So Wish me luck and say prayers for me PLEASE and Thank you! :cursing:

Hi Maya314, I just got banded on Tuesday, 2/19. Who's your doc? Mine is Dr Blackstone with the Scottsdale Bariatric Center. She's great.

Hi! Glad to hear all went well for you. I know what you mean about the snowbirds. Sorry Snowbird...I don't mean you. I hope you continue to do well. I just got my PCP to refer me to a surgeon. Now the fun begins after I meet with the surgeon. All the pre op stuff you know what I mean.

Been OK since tues, with a little gas pain-boy, did my 1st "food"taste awesome this morning!!-a few Tbls of thin grits & marg..Though I'd never hear myself say that..

Good luck & keep in touch..

MaYa314 You sounds as excited as I feel. I'm scheduled for surgery 02/29. Can't wait! You know.... I've read alot about people on Pre-Op diets but my doctor doesn't make his patients do a pre-op diet. Just Clear Liquids 1 day before surgery. I guess I got lucky.:smile2:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
