Dr. Aaron Hoffman - Lap Band done in Buffalo, NY (Dr. Hoffman)

Recommended Posts

My daughter and her family came over cause I ordered 6 yards of topsoil , duh... so they are helping us spread it around. I made potato salad, corn on the cob, and green salad, and chicken. I ate chick, green salad and 2 spoons of potato salad, everything got stuck. I don't know whats up with this band, im either too loose or to tight on any given day...

Hello everyone, I am new to this site and will be attending the group meeting next week. I have had the sleep study and it showed that I have mild sleep apnea. Has anyone had mild sleep apnea and if so does the doctor require a machine before surgery? Thanks

Just got back from the Hoff and sure enough, he took out .5 cc, because i have been having heart burn, he said he wanted me to heal, so now i just hope I can stay on track and get to onederland with a little less help from the band.

Val, how did u make out today? I met a girl there who has 8cc's in her band, and had her surgery last june 08, and has only lost 30 lbs. her doc was Forbes, and believe it or not, she was never assigned another doc. she has been followed by the NP. She said she can eat anything she wants and as much as she wants including a whole sub, unlimited buffet on cruise ship, doughnuts and more, I coudn't believe it, I told her she should see one of the doc's, cause maybe her band slipped.

Welcome all you newbies, it seems like yesteday when I attended the seminar. Dr Hoffman is the best, you will love him. The surgery is in my oppinion the easy part, second easiest is the first year, then it becomes work. But i wouldn't change any thing, because at 1 yr and 3 months later, although I am not at my goal, I can breath and walk at the same time lol...welcome aboard!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
