Band tighter at different times of day??

Recommended Posts

HI

Has anyone found that they can eat somethings ie bread say in the morning but cant eat it in the afternoon. My band seems to have a mind of it's own, it allows me to eat bread sometimes and then other times of day it says no way ??

Hi Lisa,

I find the same thing with bread. Its o.k in the afternoon but cant get it down in the morning when I seem to be tighter.

Good luck for the 20th.You seem to be doing well.

Saw Mr Toh yesterday for 3rd fill , he is so nice and realy helpful. Not lost weight for 6 weeks but loosing inches instead. Then got up today and lost 4 lb overnight! Good restriction now.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Julie

wow have i got restriction now, had my second fill on 21st and boy do i know i have a band now, have only been able to eat mushies and liquids for a week now (i thought it would be like this from day one ) I think you will find the weight will drop off now, I think i have lost about 5lbs this week. I have a total of 7mls in my band now and i think it just might be the right amount.

keep me posted on your weight loss, you may not have lost for a few weeks but hey 32lbs what would we have done to lose that before we were banded. Well done!!!!

best wishes

Lisa

Being tighter at different times of the day is very common.

Check out this poll. Over 40% of respondents report restriction changing based on time of day.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
