Yaahoooooooo!!! Getting Banded April 23rd
Hi John Just wanted to wish you all the best for 23rd and just to say you will not look back. So many have said it but i will say it again the lap band is the best, years of diets up and down weight loss/gain but since the lap band just down hill. It takes some getting used to, old eating habits die hard but you learn quick with the band thats for sure. Best wishes Lisa

3rd fill in 14ml band tomo
Hi Littlenan I have not had any input to size of fill have really left it up to him?? have just said i could still eat quite large portions. Since last fill portion size has come down but saying that two weeks on seem to be able to eat more again, but wont have fill this month as off on hols to cuba on 3rd April and don't want the hassle of getting used to a new fill, incase too tight. When is your next fill? good to hear from you. Lisa

How Often Being Filled?
I have had a fill once a month since op. Still have appointment for this month but don't think i will need a fill this time as i still have good restriction. My surgeon still wants to see me just to check weight loss and that all is well with the band

3rd fill in 14ml band tomo
Hi Littlenan Like you I have 8cc in the 14cc band and for the first time I have constant restriction and feel like I just might have hit the sweet spot. Mr Toh has been brilliant, though last fill he did not do himself has now got a nurse to do the fills and boy she needs some practice as it hurt and bled for a while after, this did not happen with Mr Toh never felt a thing when he did it. Keep up the good work. Best wishes Lisa

Anyone NOT having plastic surgery??
Hi all Like most of you I really hope I don't need to have TT but like Jacuht I know I will need breast uplift as I really needed one before. My breasts have always pointed south even as a teenager. I would really love to have pert breasts, not big just pert. Though if I am left with lots of loose tummy skin I will definitely go for TT.

Hello Fabulous Fourties!!!
Hi all well sad to say i only get to chat here for a year, turned 49 in feb, but hey after being banded in nov 07,being 50 next year and 112 or more pounds lighter, i can hardly wait. I remember saying at 39 i am not going to be fat at forty but all the good will and dieting in the world could not change that. So now i can say i will not be fat at fifty and this time i have my band to ensure it. Best wishes to all Lisa

my turn
Hi Mazzie It realy depends on you, i was back to work on day four after op, but i know some people had to have two weeks off. It really depends on how quick your body recovers and the varies from person to person. Most surgeons say 7 to 10 days. Good luck, keep us posted Best wishes Lisa
