JulieNYC's medial thigh lift, breast augmentation and mons lift

Well, folks, this is the last book of the trilogy. Tomorrow, I'm headed home to Alabama for what I hope is my last round of plastic surgery. It's at least the last major round.

In case you're new to the forum, my history is that I lost 200 + lbs in 18 months of being banded. I had a TT with BL in March 2007. After that time, much to my amazement, I lost 60 more lbs. I then had a lateral thigh lift (outer thighs) and brachioplasty just 6 weeks ago, in Novmber 2007.

Tomorrow, I'm headed home for surgery on Thursday. We're doing the inner thighs (medial thigh lift), small breast implants (when I lost the extra 60, I really lost a lot of volume -- went from a mid-D to a small , and a mons lift with a port replacement to give me a low profile port.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted as I get home from the hospital. Unclear whether that will be Thursday late or sometime Friday -- depends on how I tolerate the anesthesia this time. In any even, I'll post more from the other side!

wow, julie

I may just be another voice in cyber space to you, but wow your journey and your transformation are just amazing and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing.

Wow! I was sooo scared of PS before, but if you can make it through all of that and live to tell about it, maybe I can to. I dream of the day I will feel "normal" and not be embaressed to prance around naked in front of my hubby.

Hi Julie,

Firstly I want to say you look amazing. You really are a beautiful woman. Your strength and persistance are an inspiration. As I loose and see my skin begin to sag and hang in spite of intense workouts with a trainer, I think of you and your successes. You give us all hope.

Give yourself a big hug since you deserve it.

Hoping you are doing well Julie - I am 9 days post-op and have survived the drains surprisingly well . . . Thanks for your encouragement along the way.

Yay Lynn! You'll make it through just fine. Drains will be gone before you know it.

  • 3 weeks later...

You look fantastic! I hope the newest depression meds are working and that you are continuing to heal.

Here's hoping you feel as beautiful as you look!

Julie: Just thinking about you and hoping you are doing well. I am 2 weeks post op from my TT, BL, BA, port change and lipo. Love my new tummy. Thanks for being such a mentor.

Hi Julie - just checking in to check on you . . . I hope you are doing well. I wanted to thank you again for all of your encouragement. I am 4 weeks post-op from my TT and am feeling better everyday!

Wow! you are truly brave! I want to have my thighs done too, was it painful? I live here in the Philippines, I don't think they do draining over here...

Depression is definitely easing. Spring always helps that!

Laniayala, no, the inner thighs weren't particularly painful. It wasn't a walk in the park or anything but the TT was way worse.

New pics soon, I promise!

Julie, did you have instant weight loss after surgery? I had my TT Upstate N.Y. in Goshen on March 26th. and I think I gained a few pounds. The surgeon, Dr. Winski, says this is okay it will level out-WHEN? Thank you. Be well.

My weight was steady for about 7 days post-op, even with the first surgery where they cut off 8 lbs. Fluid retention, they say. Anyway, about a week out, I let go of the water and dropped about 5 lbs. Over all, I lost weight with each surgery, between what they cut off and the extra calories burned/not consumed during the recovery period. About 20 lbs with the TT, 8 with the lateral thighs and maybe 5 with the medial thighs.

Julie since you lost that much weight after you tummy tuck does it make a difference in your stomach?? or does it just adjust and its still flat??? I want to loss another 10 to 15 pounds but I just had my tummy tuck in February.
