I'm very self-consious about my body. How will the nurse or surgeon weigh me when I go in to meet them?

A robe?

My underwear?

I don't know if all surgeons are the same but mine eighs you fully clothed. I would think all of them would do it this way though. Good luck!

Fully clothed, no shoes and I empty my pockets just so I can get rid of every ounce I can. LOL

fully clothed without shoes here. Throughout all my pre-surgery appointments, none of them required me to disrobe.

Fully clothed here too. Do ask about one issue up front. There are a handful of doctors that want before photos of you. Some do them fully clothed, some nude, some give you a paper bra and underwear to wear during photos.

My doc didn't do that and if he would have, I would have told him to buggar off. That would have been a deal breaker for me. It never hurts to see if your doc is one of the few that wants before/during/after photos nude or semi-nude. If he takes those photos, ask if you refuse to do the photos will he refuse to do your surgery. If so, either deal with it or find a new surgeon.

Most do not require photos of any type. But the thing is, find out before surgery so you aren't in for a big surprise.

There were no before pictures asked of us. Thank God!

we took before pictures FULLY CLOTHED! I dont think i would have done nude ones... eeekk!!! The nurse said that they would take a pic of us everytime we came into the office for fills to put into the file. They wouldnt be shared with anyone unless we signed a consent form (ie if the doctor uses it in lectures etc). I didnt sign the consent but they still do the pictures for the file only.
