Hi,

I'm very self-consious about my body. How will the nurse or surgeon weigh me when I go in to meet them?

A robe?

My underwear?

we took before pictures FULLY CLOTHED! I dont think i would have done nude ones... eeekk!!! The nurse said that they would take a pic of us everytime we came into the office for fills to put into the file. They wouldnt be shared with anyone unless we signed a consent form (ie if the doctor uses it in lectures etc). I didnt sign the consent but they still do the pictures for the file only.

No way would I ever agree to photos with or without clothing. I don't own any "before" photos of me, I'll be damned if others are going to have photos of me out of my control. It simply would not happen.

Some docs use them for research, some want proof that the surgery was necessary. Well, my BMI was proof I needed the surgery. If he needs photos, I need a new doc.

I'm weighed with my clothes on and if a fill is needed I change into a paper gown.

My doc also did before pics for which I was fully clothed. If I had to be nude for those I wouldn't have agreed to it ever.

Fully clothed for the weigh-ins and for my "before" pic. Thank goodness. That WOULD have been a deal-breaker for me. Yikes.
