It could be that you are dumping. Do you feel anything else? Light-headed? sweaty? I used to feel the same after eating food that is high in carbs (bread, rice, Pasta etc) which I was taking once a week or just eating too quickly. What worked for me is eating smaller portions and taking my time to chew my food. I drink Water at least half an hour after the last portion. I hope this helps.

Recommend talking to your doctor and getting a blood test. There are a number of things that can cause fatigue, but it's impossible to know which issue you're having via the internet.

Yeah I still get this all the time. Not in any way related to dumping or carbs for me - it's the same after a Protein only meal. Definitely not hypoglycaemia, just the blood flow being directed to my stomach instead of my brain (well known phenomenon but I think heightened after VSG)!! I work so can't afford to nap but I SO want to!

I would talk to your doctor. They can run labs to aid in pinpointing what’s going on.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
