I was also bullied at school because I was a bad learner and didn't get good grades, so I now have the trauma that I cannot do something.

But with time my muse to live has returned.

God, bullying, in general, is really bad, especially for people who haven't matured. In school, I was also bullied. That's why I hate doing homework. That's why I use this service https://edubirdie.com/buy-dissertation. Usually, from here, I buy a dissertation for my college (now I'm a student). They often charge us with homework, so it's a great way out of the situation. Especially since it gives me a lot of time, I can spend on work.

Dont forget this tho......it doesnt matter if your fat or thin, tall or short there will always be something a bully will pick from to cause a person grief. They may not like your hairstyle or the way you dress. There's always something they will find.....we have to learn to not sweat the small things. There are much more important things to focus on like celebrating the weight you have lost, planning your next big whatever a trip, a shopping spree or just something as simple as finding shoes to fit so you can walk more. Focus on you and the things that bring you happiness.

Dont worry so much about others nothing you can do about them except ignore them.

Live, Laugh and Love yourself, thats your goal 😁

Hey there, I'm really sorry to hear that you had to go through such hurtful fat shaming. It's important to remember that your worth isn't determined by your size or appearance. You're on a journey towards better health and that's something to be proud of. Don't let the negativity of others bring you down.

So I have always been a big kid since maybe the 4th grade but I was never huge. I can still remember every fat comment that my friends said. I can honestly tell you I dont remember what people I didnt know said. But people I care about I remember them all. Honestly, my worst bully would have been my dad. Quick story. I use to be a gym rat power lifter in my yournger days and learned everything I could about building muscle mass. I guress since i was never going to be skinny I was going to be strong. Flash forward 25 years or so (I am 51) and my dad asked someone about how the best way to build muscles in his arms, The guy he was talking to was just naturally big. didnt work out to get that way and he was telling my dad some pretty basic useless info. So I started to talk about techniques for building muscle and my old man cut me off and told me if he needed info on how to eat big macs he would ask me.

Long story short, you cant control what other people do. Just know when people say crappy things its more of a reflection on their own insecurities and weakness. Also, the internet has made a culture of being able to say mean stuff without getting punched in the face. Im guessing most of these comments comes with the a hole having space and an exit plan. My favorite thing to do when people are like that is to get nose to nose when you can and ask them to repeat it. I have never one time done this and had them not back down. May be a little afressive on my part but I just hate this no accountability for running your mouth society we have created.

Outside of that you just have to let it go as someone who didnt get any love as a child trying to get attention. In short, screw that moron.

Surround yourself with positivity and focus on what truly makes you happy.
Also, I recently came across some helpful information about dealing with harassment or blackmail. If you ever find yourself in such a situation, you might find this link useful: https://www.digitalforensics.com/blackmail. It's always good to be informed and know how to protect ourselves.

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.

Some days I feel like an infiltrator... I'm participating in society as a "thin" person. They have no idea that I haven't always been one of them! 🤣

Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!
