Video of surgery?

Ive been curious if the hospital records the surgery from the laparoscopic cameras and if i could get a copy... Anyone ever gotten a copy of their footage? I just want to see what it looks like inside me lmao.

I got photographs too - during & after. He gave me one after my gall surgery too. I thought it was hilarious. Couldn’t decide if it was it evidence or a souvenir??

You may find videos online of surgeries. They often show footage of part of the surgery on My 600lb Life.

I would have LOVED to have video of mine. Very much doubt my surgeon would have let me (he'd have been amused, though), though in hindsight I wish I'd at least asked. I'm definitely the kind of curious weirdo who loves this sort of thing. ?

I think Ill ask my Dr before surgery for my last pre op appt.....lol

My surgeon shares part of it on Instagram.
