awesome! January 4th can't come soon enough for me. I have been hesitant to take this step for the longest time, but once i decided, I was so ready. I'm even looking forward to the pre-diet. so happy for you! Good luck!

I am actually kind of nervous for the pre-op diet because I have to work while doing it.

Yea I can imagine that will be hard but the surgery will be a great gift we can give all of ourselves and it will be worth the sacrifice of that Christmas meal. I will have to keep telling myself that it is worth it when it is time for my liquid diet.

Another Jan 18th here! I wished it could be before the end of the year but the more I think about the timing the more I like the date. I can still enjoy holiday cooking and start my 2 week pre op diet just as I would have started a diet in any other year LOL. My birthday is a few days before surgery so I told my family we would Celebrate with a nice meal and small cake BEFORE I have to start the pre op diet. The surgery will be the perfect birthday present to myself!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
