Headaches after Bypass Surgery

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone - I wanted to reach out and ask if anyone have headaches after the bypass. I have these headaches that last for 3 days at a time and not sure if it is due to the amount of food we are supposed to eat or the Water we are supposed to drink. What can you take besides tylenol because that doesn't always help.
Thanks,
Lisa

my dr said when i get headaches and feel dizzy, its time to adjust the meds im on. Im only taking Lisinorpil, and on my 1st follow up today, my blood pressure was "normal" and he warned me to contact my primary when i feel this way.

Regular Water is really acidic. If it's bothering your stomach, try switching to alkaline Water. You can find it in the stores. Smart water makes it, its in the black bottle. There are other companies as well. It is more expensive than Regular water but it is let acidic and will not hurt your stomach. You can sometimes find it in the gallon jugs as well. If this is an ongoing issue with your stomach and water, you can find pH drops on Amazon and add them to your regular water and do it that way. It's a lot cheaper in the long run.

Water is not acidic at all: Pure water has a pH of 7 and is considered “neutral” because it has neither acidic nor basic qualities.

Alkaline water is a marketing scam. Your body is EXTREMELY good at maintaining homeostasis, and if you have an acid/base issue, you would almost certainly be in the hospital.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
