I’m new here as of a few minutes ago. My sleeve surgery date is August 3. Excited-nervous-excited-just spastic in general. LOL

Hi, I’m new to site, I’m having my 12 year old lap band changed to a sleeve on 5th Aug.

Band worked have lost and kept off 6 stone but think it’s worn out ?

so excited to get this changed and hope it less trouble than the band

I'm very excited but also a bit nervous. Still going back and forth wether this is the right choice for me.
I know I'll probably never lose the weight without the surgery, but I'm afraid I'll fall back into old habits after having the surgery. Is anybody else having these doubt/concerns?

Hey, Surgery Sibling! I keep telling myself it's mind over matter. We all have to address our relationship with food and decide what/who we want to be going forward. It's normal to have concerns but think positive! Stay strong! You got this!
