  1. Hi, I had my band removed and a sleeve done in same operation, I now can eat all foods just half portions, it’s so much easier, I’ve not been sick once and no more stuck foods. I had my band in for 12 years and kept 6 stone off, I have lost just over a stone since having sleeve and now weigh just over 12 stone, I will be happy staying this weight
  2. Hi, can’t help where you can go, my band did exactly the same after 12 years, I know what a pain it is, I’ve just changed to the sleeve, I was so fed up with the constant sickness . Hope you get help
  3. Hi, I felt like that, but read on here that it could be lack of protein, I got some great protein shakes off Amazon that contains 40g , honest I feel so much better now, 1 first thing in the morning and one mid afternoon, my dizziness, light head, and tiredness has 95% gone

  6. Hi all Had my sleeve on 19th, all good so far, BUT, has anyone else noticed they have really gone off things ? I now can’t stand taste of vanilla, and can’t stand the smell of my favourite perfume and I was a Diet Coke addict and have not even wanted one, not a bad thing I know, but odd, especially the smell

  8. Hi all, update on surgery, all went to plan, been sucking on extra strong mints and Rennie wind tablets, so far not a lot of gas. Had fluids and clear soup and a small yogurt today, seemed ok, a bit sore and feel v bloated/swollen around stomach, feel tired as not much sleep due to constant checks having paracetamol and ibuprofen for pain, so not much, did feel v sick when I woke up but anti sickness jab sorted that also on IV for antibiotics and saline but that stops later and all being well home tomorrow walking around is ok as well, hope this helps others x
  9. Hi all, I’m sitting here in my gown waiting to go down for my surgery. Excited, bloody scared, I’m having lap band removed and sleeve done. god willing it will all go as planned. X

  14. Well, thank god your surgeon sounds good, don’t know where you live but in uk your boss would just have to accept the letter and pay the sick leave

  17. Hi, hope someone can help…….. when I get to the weight I want to be how do you stop losing too much .? I’m really worried that I will loose too much and look old and ill has anyone got to their weight and just kept it stable ? please help and advise xxx
