March 2021 Surgeries

Recommended Posts

Was wondering what everyone that had March 2021 surgeries have lost thus far? I have stayed consistent in weekly loss and just this week found that I gained .9lbs. Currently I am down 52lbs and still want to lose at least 30lbs more. If you don't mind sharing your experience I would appreciate it!

I had my surgery March 17, 2021 and I am down 89 lbs from surgery. (107 total) I had a 4 week stall in August. My surgeon said I wasn't losing fast enough because he thought I was eating too much, so I kicked it into high gear and I'm dropping again. It's been a time! My hunger is back and I can eat 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of food at a time.

Hi All!! Today is my 8 month surgiversary!! So far I am loving this new lease on life! Plan on running my first 5k in February. I don't get really hungry, but I do get HANGRY if I go too long without eating. I have been having the munchies lately so I'm trying to make sure I'm having healthy Snacks as well as working on the mindless eating that got me here in the first place.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
