Scared this is serious

Recommended Posts

I had gastric sleeve surgery in August. I went from 356 to 246 and the last few days when I bend over really far I get a pain in my stomach a little left from my naval. It hurts for a second and then goes away. It feels almost like when you really stretch a muscle but like it's also painful. Not sure if it's because with the weight loss I can bend more than my body is use to or if it's just me or if it's surgery related. Please help if you have any clue why this is happening. Aside from this I feel fine. Diet is good. Weight loss is good. I feel healthier and I feel really really good. It's just this bending thing that's got me freaked out.

Been a day or two. It only hurts when I bend fully to the floor and do it fast. It seems to be coming inside near the incision site uo and slightly left of my belly button. Idk if it's scar tissue or some sort of ghost pain **** like my mom gets since her c section but I really could use some advice am I entirely alone here? I'm 7 months post op almost and it's been a breeze so far I lost so much weight. I feel amazing. This is the only thing. Externally there's no warmth or pain. I can suck my stomach in and push it out without a problem. I can push my hand into the area with no pain. It's only when I bed certain ways that it's like OW for a second and then it goes away

You might be developing a hernia, you probably want to go get checked at the ER, or soon as possible.

There's no buldge or anything and it does not hurt to push in with my hand or suck my stomach in or push out. The only time it hurts is when I bend over really far too quick

Hi, this could be scar tissue adhesions. They can be quite painful. I had them and oh, boy! check with your surgeon.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
